Access and parking
ACCESS AND PARKING The International Congress Centre is located in the heart of the city of Katowice, next to the legendary Spodek Arena – the sports and entertainment hall.
Together with the Silesian Museum and the seat of the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra, they co-create the “Culture Zone” – a new space in the city eagerly used by tourists as well as residents of Katowice and of the whole of the Silesian Agglomeration.
Access by car
Located in the vicinity of the A4 and A1 motorways, the venue is easily accessible from many places in the country and Europe.
Numerous car parks located around the ICC enable comfortable use of the facility.
Access by train
From the Katowice Railway Station, you can reach the ICC:
- on foot in 15 min. (2.5 km)
- by taxi from Plac Oddziałów Młodzieży Powstańczej (Oddziały Młodzieży Powstańczej Square) or Młyńska Street
- by trams: T2, T11, T13, T23, T43 towards Katowice Rondo (Katowice Roundabout) stop (8 min.)
Access by tram and bus
The nearest KZK GOP tram and bus stops for the International Congress Centre in Katowice are Katowice Rondo (Katowice Roundabout), Katowice Spodek or Katowice Uniwersytecka Street.
Access by airlines
The International Congress Centre is located 30 km from the Katowice-Pyrzowice International Airport. The journey to the airport takes approximately 30 min. You can reach the ICC from the airport by taxi (approx. PLN 100) or by bus (approx. PLN 30). When going by bus, get off at Katowice Sokolska stop (1 km from ICC) or Katowice Hotel Novotel (850 m away from ICC).
The efficient access to the ICC from many destinations in Poland, Europe and the world is also enabled by international airports in Kraków Balice (70 km, approx. 50 minutes) and Ostrava (130 km, approx. 1.2 hours).
