Programmatically initiated in 2020, the project of creating a new museum collection assumes capturing the current proposals of unique and industrial design in a regional, national, European and global scale. He is driven by the ambitions of a broad, holistic vision of the artistic culture of our time, pulsating with deep ideas, various aesthetic tendencies and technological innovation. The focus is on interior design and furnishings (from furniture to lighting), ceramics and glass, fashion and jewelry, as well as applied graphics and mass-produced items (from advertising to a bottle of mineral water).

The schedule of events accompanying the creation of the new collection includes exhibitions and scientific conferences, as well as lectures, workshops, discussion panels and promotions of thematic publications.
