OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci
OSKAR GRĄBCZEWSKI is an architect, juror, columnist and architecture critic.
Together with Barbara and Marek Grąbczewski, he runs the OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci office in Katowice.
Winner of over one hundred international and national awards, distinctions and nominations, including in the competitions EU Mies van der Rohe Award, German Design Prize, SARP Award of the Year, Life in Architecture, XXL Polish Architecture.
The most important OVO projects include: the Palaeontological Pavilion in Krasiejów (with Goczolowie Architekci), the Health and Social Welfare Center in Gierałtowice,
The Museum of Fire in Żory, the Health Center in Przyszowice, the Chain Bath in the Luiza Mine in Zabrze (with Konior Studio), the Administration Center of the Wielka Wieś Commune, the EXG office building in Częstochowa.
Currently, OVO, after winning competitions, is working on projects and implementations of an ecological housing complex for the TBS in Katowice at Mariacka Street and the Cognitarium Knowledge Center in Koszalin.
In 2022, the OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci “Playing Architecture” monographic exhibition was presented at Architektur Galerie Berlin.
