He is an architect and urban planner, a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and an IBA Emscher Park scholarship holder.

Together with his wife Barbara and son Marek, he runs the OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci architectural office in Katowice.

Oskar Grąbczewski is an academic lecturer, competition judge, columnist and architecture critic. He was nominated for the title of Architectural Personality of the 25th anniversary of Architecture Murator.

He has obtained over one hundred international and national awards, distinctions and nominations, incl. in the EU Mies van der Rohe Award, German Design Prize, SARP Award of the Year, Życie w Architecture, and Polska Architektura XXL competitions.

OVO projects have been published and exhibited in Athens, Amsterdam, Florence, Budapest, Bucharest, Sofia and Prague.
In March 2022, the monographic exhibition OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci "Playing Architecture" will be opened at Architektur Galerie Berlin.
