Tomasz Bujok

a local government official and community activist, a graduate of the Bielsko-Humanist University in Bielsko-Biała, who gained professional experience by running his own business and managing a transport company in Wisła. Since 2002, with strong support from residents, he was elected as a councilman of the Wisla City Council. He acted in this role for 3 consecutive terms - until 2014, and from 2006 to 2010 additionally served as Chairman of the Wisla City Council. From 2014 to the present day, he has been the Mayor of the City of Wisla - a locality with which he has been strongly associated since his birth. He combines his duties as mayor of Wisla with his work in a number of associations with strong ties to local government activities - since 2019 he has been a board member of the Local Government Association of the Cieszyn Land,since 2024 he has been its chairman. Since 2016 he has been a board member of the Local Action Group “Cieszyn Land”, and since 2021 he has held the position of vice-president of this association. He also has strong ties to the firefighting community, as since January 2022 he has served as President of the Board of Directors of the Branch of Volunteer Fire Brigades in Cieszyn, and since November 2022 he has been a member of the presidium of the Provincial Branch of Volunteer Fire Brigades in Katowice.
